The West Midlands Police Museum at the Lock-up

West Midlands Police Museum is now open at the Steelhouse Lane Lock-up, Wednesday to Saturday from 10am to 4pm. We have tailored offerings for schools and groups including educational activities, guided tours and talks. As well as open days we also offer talks and other events, and hire the building for filming, ghost hunts, fundraisers and corporate events. Disabled Visitors

  • We strive to be as accessible as possible to all visitors. We have an accessible entrance (via Coleridge Passage) and a lift on site, SEN backpacks available to borrow, and can cater tours to groups with a variety of accessibility needs.
