Blakesley Hall

Timber-framed Elizabethan farmhouse built around 1590. The Grade II Listed house is furnished as it would have looked in the 17th century. Garden, barn classroom. Community Museum operated by Birmingham Museums & Art Gallery, now further restored and with new visitor facilities.

      M6 Junction 4, join M42 (Junction 7) going south for one junction. Come off at Junction 6 and take A45 towards City Centre. Leave A45 at the Swan Island Yardley (A4040). The Hall is signposted from this island.

      M5 Junction 4A, join M42 at Junction 1 and stay on until Junction 6. Take A45 towards City Centre (then follow directions above).

      From Birmingham City Centre, take A45 to Coventry/Birmingham International Airport. Turn left at Yardley Swan Island (A4040). The Hall is signposted from the island.
